  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. HIV/AIDS PATIENTS,PROTESTED IN ABUJA FOR LACK OF ANTI-RETROVIRAL DRUGS.

                           Today monday,hundreds of HIV/AIDS positive patients stormed the Abuja office of the National Agency for Control of Aids {NACA},protested over lack of access to anti-retroviral drugs in hospitals and other care centres across the country.The protesters under the Network of people living with HIV/AIDS also protested over diminishing funding for HIV/AIDS programmes by international development partners as well as non-implementation of comprehensive response plan,a scheme launched by president Goodluck Jonathan to address the problems of access to anti-retroviral drugs.The protesters took the staff of NACA unawares as they had invade the NACA office before the official resumption hours early this morning.The protesters were armed with placards and some sleeping materials,indicating that they were determined to stay in the NACA office as long as necessary.The protesters took over the main entrance of the office of Professor John Doko,the Director General of NACA,there by stopping him and other workers from entering their offices.One more photo below.
