 ANAMBRA POLICE ARRESTS TWO SUSPECTED PRODUCERS OF ADULTERATED ALCOHOLIC DRINKS, RECOVERS COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS AND CHEMICALS Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command attached to the Rapid Response Squad/VCRU have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the production and distribution of adulterated alcoholic beverages in the State. The suspects, identified as Ikechukwu Okeke 42 years old and Okeke Chukwuemeka 38 years old were arrested in the early hours of today 15th June 2026,  following credible intelligence received by the Police. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects are members of a syndicate specializing in the adulteration and counterfeiting of various alcoholic beverages. During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to the crime and subsequently led operatives to their mini-factory. At the facility, Police operatives recovered several suspected adulterated alcoholic products, including Seaman’s Schnapps, McDowell’s, Eagle Schnapps, ...

2 FULANI HERDS-MEN,ARRESTED FOR HIGHWAY ROBBERY ALONG LAGOS IBADAN EXPRESSWAY.

                                              Few hours ago,the two men in the picture above,identified as Mohammed Umar and Manu Hassan,were caught by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly robbing motorists on the Lagos Ibadan expressway.The Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer DSP Kenneth Nwosu,confirmed the arrest of the herdsmen and he said ''They are the ones terrorising the Lagos Ibadan express way,especially around the Kara market.They have confessed to several other Robberies.Three locally made guns and knives were recovered from them''.Sources claimed they are actually 7,but only two were caught.The police further claimed that the Fulani herdsmen robbers also have hideout in the Abbatoir,Abule Egba and Agege areas of Lagos and also in Igo Ora and Saka areas of Oyo state..Manu Hassan claimed this was his first robbery while Mohammed Umar is saying that ''I am married with two children and my family is based in Kebbi.I was formerly selling cows at the Kara market before i was introduced to the gang.I rob on the high way and i also steal cows,although i don't enjoy it.I have stolen about 12 cows this year.I sold them to one Alhaji Danman in Abbatoir in Agege.I sold six to him for N500,000 thousand,and i don't have a problem taking the cows away because i know their language''.
