 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A WOMAN WAS CRUSHED TO DEATH IN A TRICYCLE {KEKE} IN AKOWONJO LAGOS,BY A CAR.

PHOTOS: UMOH-OBONG KINGSLEY                       The woman crushed to death was identified as Mrs Abigail,who was one of the passengers of a tricycle {keke}.The incident happened around 5am on saturday around Shasha area,Abati bustop of Akowonjo in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos state,when a private vehicle crushed the tricycle the woman was in.She died on the spot while other passengers,sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.One of those injured was an old woman,who was said was returning from night vigil.What really happened was that a Toyota Camty,was said to have rammed into the tricycle {keke},while trying to overtake another vehicle.The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station,immediately after the accident.One more photo below.                                                                                                                      â€¢The corpse at the scene of the accident
