NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges. A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters and two H-125 helicopters. The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. Today tuesday December the 16,2014,Copyright Society of Nigerian,popularly known as Coson,distributed royalties to over 2000 musician round Nigeria.The annual Extral Ordinary General meeting was held at the Lagos Airport Hotel Ikeja,and old and upcoming musicians like Majek Fashek,Pa Ajilo,Kenny Saint Brown etc,attended the meeting.Though music artist was expecting more than the usual they collect because of all the billionaire suite Coson has won because most of the organizations prefer to settle out of court.Tony Okoroji,the head of Coson,explained that why the money is not as much as music artist expected these year is because,more musicians registered under Coson and that caused the money not to be as much as we musicians expected.More photos below.
