 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting.                                                These information got to my desk yesterday,after the Public Relations Officer for the Nigerian Immigration Service Chukwuemeka Obuah,on monday made the information available after they placed an advertorials were placed in major media outlets for the purpose of recruitment.The statement reads ''The Presidential Committee to assist in Immigration Recruitment on monday February 9,2015,placed advertorial in some national national dailies requesting application from suitable Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigerian Immigration service starting from 9 February,2015 to 22 March 2015.Note the application is free and must be done online''.The last recruitment tragedy happened March 15 2014,when 6.5 million people in all 37 states including the FCT,for just 4000 vacant position in the service.More photo below.
