TROOPS OF OPERATION UDOKA DISMANTLE CRIMINAL SYNDICATE, RECOVER STOLEN WEAPONS Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDOKA through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have recorded a significant operational success with the arrest of key members of a notorious criminal syndicate responsible for the ambush of troops on 4 May 2026. Unfortunately, the ambush claimed the life of one soldier and left another wounded. Following the attack, troops launched a series of intelligence-led raids aimed at apprehending the perpetrators and recovering weapons stolen during the incident. These sustained operations resulted in the arrest of the suspects. According to the Nigerian Police,who confirmed yesterday friday kidnap of 3 Chinese national said today saturday that ''Three Chinese nationals were abducted by some unknown gunmen within the early hours of friday.One policeman was killed while another sustained gunshot wounds''.Other sources said the gunmen had stormed a quarry outside Lokoja,the capital of Kogi state,and engaged the policemen on guard in a shootout.The kidnappers escaped with their hostages on foot through the bush,in which the police began trailing them immediately.It was unknown whether the kidnappers were planning to demand a ransom.
