 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. POLICE IN BURUNDI,TEARGAS PROTESTERS OPPOSING THEIR PRESIDENTS THIRD TERM RUN.

                       Some supporters have urged President Pierre Nkurunziza to stand again in June's election although he has not commented on his intentions.Opponents say such a move would violate the constitution,and even some ruling party official have asked him not to run.Protesters were shouting ''We won't let him run again''.Protesters took shelter in shops or buildings after the teargas was thrown before regrouping again.Some of the protesters hurled stones at the police.Rain later help disperse them.Opposition parties are discussing uniting behind a single candidate to improve their chances of defeating President Nkurunziza third term ambition.He took over office in 2005 after 12 years of civil conflict.He has served two terms,and the constitution and the peace deal that ended that war both stipulate that no one should be president for longer than 10 years.The president's supporters argued that his first term should not count since he was picked by law makers rather than voted in.They should screem change in President Nkurunziza's ear.More photos below.
