 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. 6 PEOPLE DIED YESTERDAY IN A WEDDING,AFTER A SUICIDE BOMBER ATTACKED THE VENUE IN BORNO STATE.

            Yesterday Friday,the Borno command confirmed the killing of six persons when a suicide bomber attacked the venue of a wedding in Tashan Alade town of Hawul Local Government Area in Borno state.The state's Commissioner of Police,Mr Aderemi Opadokun Confirmed casualty figure in an interview with NAN in Maiduguri Opadokun said that no fewer than 30 people were also injured during the attack.''I confirm the report on an alleged suicide bombing in Tashan Alade in Hawul LGA.The incident was reported to have occurred at a wedding ''Fatiha''.Presently,six person all males,whose identities are unknown,are confirmed dead,while 30 other were injured.Investigation is in progress on the issue''.He further said that the inauguration of Gov. Kashim Shettima for a second term of office in Maiduguri was peaceful.
