Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. Today friday,it was reported that a gunman opened fire on students after walking into a high school in Potiskum in north east Nigeria,critically injuring six people.The gunman was accompanied by another attacker also suspected to be a Boko Haram member.Eyewitness,Musa Ahmed,a student at the College of Administration and Business sturdies said ''We came out from lectures when we saw two people at the gate,he brought out a gun and started shooting.The sucide bomber detonated the bomb killing himself alone but six of the students were shot by the man with the gun.
