 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AFTER EKITI GOVERNOR IMPOSED A CURFEW YESTERDAY,SOME ARSONISTS,SET A MARKET ON FIRE TODAY MORNING.

                  The market that was set on fire,is said to be the bigest market in Ekiti state.This fire came few hours after the state Governor Ayodele Fayose ,imposed a dusk to dawn curfew on the state due to the clash between Hausa community and a section of Yoruba residents in the state capital Ado-Ekiti.The market was burnt between midnight and early today friday morning by unidentified persons.Although goods worth millions of naira were destroyed,efforts made by men of the fire service to put out the fire,prevented the entire market from being razed down.Head of the state fire service said they had to call Ikole Ekiti for re-inforcement.Governor Fayose had imposed a curfew between 6pm and 6am,on thursday when he visited the Hausa community at Atikankan area of Ado Ekiti following a violent clash that left three persons dead.He ordered the security agencies to arrest anyone found roaming the street in defiance of the curfew.The governor appealed to warring factions to remain calm and assured that justice would be done in the case.Despite Fayose's plea,the mayhem took another dimension today friday as mobile policemen,deployed to quel it,moved from house to do with the mayhem.Sources said the state government is planning to relocate Hausas at Atikankan area of Ado Ekiti to another location because of their high concentration at Shasha on Ikere road.
