 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AT LAST OIL MARKETERS,CALLS OFF THE STRIKE.

                      The oil Major Marketers Association of  Nigeria {MOMAN} has finally reached an agreement with the government to begin supplying country with much needed petroleum products.Magnus Abe,the Chairman of the Senate committee on petroleum resources,informed press that a solution to fuel crisis has just been worked out during the meeting of MOMAN representatives,Major stakeholders in the oil and gas sector,senate committee on Petroleum resources and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala,minister of finance.According to that decision,petroleum products delivery across the country will be restated in six hours.At the same time the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas workers {NUPENG} and the petroleum and natural gass senior staff association {PENGASSAN},which had suspended their activities previously,have also decided to call off their ongoing strike to end the fuel crisis hitting Nigeria's economy.During the meeting,it was agreed that the department of petroleum resources has the right to revoke the license of those oil marketers which refuse to lift petroleum products across Nigeria.
