 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.                        Hajia Inna Ciroma,the Director of NIWA,today wednesday tendered her resignation letter,with effect from May 28.This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Tayo Fadile,the authority's General Manager,Corporate Affairs,and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.The statement quoted the information from her letter of resignation addressed to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation {SGF}.It stated that the former minister of Women Affairs,thanked President Goodluck Jonathan,for giving her the opportunity to serve in that capacity.She assumed duty as the Managing Director of NIWA on May 13,2013 following her appointment by the president.Inna Ciroma,who is also a former National Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP},said her decision to resign was honourable and the right thing to do,the statement said.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
