 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Governor Willie Obiano (M) and the commissioners at the right                    Those sworn in yesterday monday are Mr Okey Moka {Finance],Mrs Gladys Ilobi {Special Duties} Mr Afam Mbanefo {Agriculture},Mr Frank Offor {Housing and Urban Development} and Dr Uju Nwogu {Information,Cultural and Tourism}.Governor Willie Obiano said he has appointed the five new Commissioners to assist in steering the affairs of the state.Administering Oath of office on the appointees on Monday in Awkka,the Director of Civil Litigation,Mr Emeka Ike,explained that the appointment was in the accordance with the provision of sections 190 and 194 of the constitution of the country.The governor on his part congratulated the appointees,urging them to see their appointments as a priviledge and call to serve the people.''Serving under this administration is an honour to those of you who have been sworn in and we look up to assist in moving the state forward.What you have just signed is your job specifications,with time frme for performance monitoring.So you will only stay apart of the team,if you are found worthy''.Responding on behalf of the commissioner,Nwogu expressed gratitude to the governor for find them worthy to serve the state,promising to key into the tempo of development strides.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
