 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE,IS IN NEED OF REST FROM THE PUBLIC,AFTER HE COLLAPSED ON STAGE,YESTERDAY.

                 In an official statement from the Executive Council The Latter Rain Assembly, said they are informing the public that Pastor Tunde Bakare,needs to rest after collapsing on stage during a lecture yesterday monday May 18th.The statement reads ''Thank you all for you out pouring affection and concern through calls,messages,and prayers.Please be assured that Pastor Tunde Bakare is hale,healthy and in good spirit.Though in need of rest.I will like the public to remain calm,and give Pastor Bakare the space and time to fully recuperate over the next few days''.Oh God give Pastor Tunde Bakare good health.Amen.
