 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. 2 ARMED ROBBERS AT NKPOR ANAMBRA STATE,WERE SET ABLAZE BY ANGRY MOB.

                       According to sources,angry mob lynched two suspected robbers in Anambra state,setting them ablaze in broad daylightThese two criminals have been allegedly terrorizing residents of Nkpor,robbing people at gunpoint.However,their last attempt to rob a trader turned out to be disastrous for both of them.They were on a motorcycle,trying to rob a trader carrying mint of money in his bag as he was about to make some goods procurement at the market.They both met unexpected resistance and opened fire on the trader but the bullet didn't enter {odieshi}.But the trader wasn't hurt and even managed to stab one of the attackers in the chest with his dagger.Both robbers fell off their motorcycle after being hit by an on-coming vehicle.Those who were watching the incident immediately mobilized themselves,turned to a mob,arrested the two robbers,beat them up and set them ablaze.Hassan Musa,Ogidi Divisional police officer,confirmed the incident,adding that the gun and the motorbike were found in the scene crime and were gathered as evidence for an on-going investigation.The incident happened at Tarzan Junction,on 8th of June 2015.
