Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. An 18 year old auxiliary nurse has accused the owner of a private hospital in negligence after robbers raided the hospital and four of the robbers raped her in turns.The robbers also carted away valuable belonging to patients on admission at the hospital in Lagos state.The incident happened at a private hospital in Egan Lagos state.The nurse {name withheld} alleged that the owner of the hospital did not provide security for his staff and thereby subjected her to mental torture after she was raped and she lost her virginity.She reported the incident to the police station at Igando Division and the Medical Director was arrested and later released on bail.The armed robbers stormed the hospital around 3am recently and scaled the fence before gaining entry into the premises.They over powered a 19 year old security guard from Niger Republic,tied him with a rope and locked him in a room before carrying out their operation.The staff on night duty were brutally attacked and wounded and when the robbers could not get enough money,they resorted to raping the teenage nurse in turns.The Medical Director of the hspital,Dr Adegbola Dominic confirmed the incident and said he could not be held liable for the rape of the nurse.
