 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. DANGOTE GROUP TODAY,OPENED A $500 MILLION CEMENT PLANT IN ETHIOPIA.

                         According to sources,Dangote Group today thursday,opened a $500 million cement plant in Ethiopia.The new plant is in the western Ethiopian district of Mugher at a site some 85 kilometres from the capital Adidis Ababa,which is surrounded by green pastures but is quickly becoming one of the country's main industrial hubs.The plant will initially produce 2.5 million tonnes a year in a country whose population of 90 million only consumes around 70 kilogrammes of cement per capital annually and the company said it plans to further expand its out put.Nigeria's annual per capital consumption is 127 kilogrammes.Aliko Dangote said in a speech that ''We are going to double this plant.A reliable power supply was one of the attractions that lured the investments to Ethiopia''.
