 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali.                                               Lamar Odom's best friend 37 year old Jamie Sangouthai,who past away on sunday was rumoured to have died of overdose because he had been seriously struggling with drug issues for months.But today thursday it was reported that he passed away because of a flesh eating disease caused by dirty needles.L.A County said ''The exact terms are necrotizing fasciitis bacterial skin infection and chronic intravenous narcotism,which is IV drug abuse''.The Coroner maintained that Jamie went to the hospital for the infected arm,but the disease spreads quickly and often becomes life threatening.Jamie died at a hospital in Los Angeles and he do appear on Khloe and Lamar's reality show when it was still aired on E!
