 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. MORE THAN 90 PEOPLE DIED IN A FIRE,AT A PETROL STATION IN GHANA,YESTERDAY.

                   The fire broke out at the Goil filling station at the Nkrumal circle in Accra during heavy rain pour,yesterday wednesday.The National Fire service in Ghana confirmed that officially 90 people are dead but there are fears that the number could rise as the rescue operation continues.Sources say most of those who were caught up in the fire were sheltering at the petrol station from the heavy down pour in Accra.It is not clear what caused the fire which followed heavy down pour in Accra that led to power outages in several homes and hundreds of workers in the capital,were left stranded at their work places as the heavy down pour submerged the city.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
