 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PRESIDENT BUHARI,TO ATTEND AU SUMMIT IN SOUTH AFRICA.

                            According to the Nigerian Consul General in South Africa,Ambassador Uche Agulu Okeke,said that arrangement have been made,concluded to host president Muhammadu Buhari when he visits South Africa at the weekend.He said Buhsri would be in South Africa to attend the African Union summit holding between saturday and monday.The consulate would host the meeting between the Nigerian community and Buhari.She said all necessary arrangements had been made to ensure that Buhari's visit to South Africa was smooth.The President of the Nigerian Union,South Africa,Ikechukwu Anyene,also said Nigerians in the nine provinces of South Africa had been mobolised to receive Buhari during his visit.''It is an opportunity for Nigerians,resident in South Africa to meet our new president for the first time and we eargerly awaiting the visit''.
