 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 44 PEOPLE CONFIRMED DEAD BY NEMA,IN YESTERDAY TWIN EXPLOSION IN JOS.

              According to Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA} today monday confirmed the death of 44 persons following a twin blast that rocked the central north city of Jos on sunday night.The agency's Zonal Director in charge of Jos,Mohammed Abdulsalam,who disclosed this to reporters in the Plateau state capital,said 48 others were seriously injured,and are hospitalized in various hospitals in Jos.In a statement reaching Xinhua in Lagos state,the government also condemned the twin bomb blast in the city of Jos and described the perpetrators as those who were eager at ensuring that the state did not enjoy any form of peaceful coexistence.The government advised residents of the city to be vigilant,adding that security is everybody's business.One more photo below.
