DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. A 38 year old housewife,Mrs Gbemisola Basorun has been reportedly abducted from her residence in Ikorodu on Tuesday,after evening service.She is a mother of two and an HND graduate of Secretarial Administration,was abducted infront of her apartment at No.5,Basorun Abimbola street,Agodo Alara via Odogunyan Ikorodu Lagos.Eye witnesses said she was returning from church in her private car,a pathfinder SUV with registration number plate KTU 476CM in company of her children when four un identified men riding on a motocycle blocked her car at the entrance of the building.Her first child seven year old Olamide,was about opening the gate for her mother when the gunmen alighted from the motorcycle and one of them pointed a gun at her and ordered her to the back seat where her five year old brother was seated.The boy and his sister were later thrown out of the car by their assailants while two of the men sat with the woman and the other one took over the driver's seat.The motorcyclist and the car were said to have driven off together,leaving the children to their fate.Her husband Abimbola Basorun,who was not around when the incident happened said one of their neighbours put a distress call across to him around 8pm and quickly alerted the police both at Sagamu road,Ikorodu and Ogijo Police Divisions,Ogun statewho later recovered the car the following day but his wife's where abouts remain unknown.
