 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. LAGOS STATE GOVT,TO ASSIST A WOMAN WHO GAVE BIRTH TO 3 SET OF TWINS,AFTER HER HUSBAND ABANDONED HER.

Ruth Uche and her children                    Mrs Ruth Uche,the mother of three sets of twins who was abandoned by her husband Mr Uche who is a factory worker,after she gave birth to the last set of twins,will now be supported by the Lagos state government.Governor Akinwumi Ambode in a statement signed by his Chief press secretary,Mr Habib Aruna,said yesterday friday that ''It is not proper for anyone to abandon his family,especially young children that they willing brought to life.It is only when such children are properly taken care of that they can achieve their full potentials in life and become responsible citizens''.The Governor got to know about Mrs Ruth Uche's situation,through a newspaper publication which narrated her ordeals,and also her distress visit to the Government Secretariat Alausa on thursday.Ambode said his government would continue to provide good leadership that would guarantee adequate protection of lives and property of all residence.His government will assist in raising the children.
