 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                              40 years old Mr Sunday Oliseh,who was appointed as the new coach of Nigeria said today wednesday that ''We are not doing Nigeria any favour.My coming to coach the senior team is to serve our fatherland,we have not come to fight war''.Yesterday tuesday evening,Sunday Oliseh who was the former Super Eagle Captain and his assistants had a 90 minute meeting with the Nigerian Football Federation {NFF} Technical and Development Committee,headed by Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu,where he unfolded his plans for the Super Eagles.After the meeting,the NFF Executive Committee received the report of the Technical and Development Committee,and unanimously adopted the recommendation to hire Oliseh as the new Super Eagles Head Coach.Oliseh's first assignment will be in the away African Nations cup qualifier in Tanzania in September.
