 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. POLICE IN SOUTH CAROLINA,DECLARES THAT NATURAL CAUSES STARTED THE FIRE IN A BLACK CHURCH.

REUTERS/Clarendon County Fire Department/Handout via Reuters              According to the police,a fire that destroyed a Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville,South Carolina,on tuesday was from natural causes and not linked to a spate of fires at similar churches across the South.The U.S Department of Justice is investigating the fires and has so far determined that one was an electrical fire and two others were from natural causes.The fires were being investigated against the backdrop of the June 17 shooting of nine black church goers at a historic black church in Charleston,South Carolina.The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said in a statement on thursday that the Greeleyville church fire probe as completed and ''Investigators observed no indicator of criminal intent.Based upon the scene examination,the fire debris analysis,witness statements and a lighting strike report,the cause of the fire was best classified as natural''.
