 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 6 DEAD,OVER 30 WOUNDED AS A 14 YEAR OLD DETONATED A BOMB IN DAMATURU MOTOR PARK TODAY.

                        Early today tuesday morning,a suicide female bomber,detonated an explosive device strapped to her body in Damaturu ,killing five people and injured about 30 people.The Nigeria Police spokesperson Toyin Gbadegesin said ''At about 7:40am,a female suicide bomber about 14 year old detonated an explosive device at the central Damaturu motor park.Six people were killed including the suicide bomber''.An official at the state emergency management agency Idi Musa Jigawa,said the suicide bomber tried to enter the motor park,or bus station,and was accosted by civilian vigilantes.She then pulled away and set off the bomb.six people were critically wounded and another 22 had minor injuries.No one claimed the bomb attack but all fingers are being pointed to the Islamist group Boko Haram.One more photo below.
