 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.                                                                        Today thursday it was reported that,a 42 year old man identified as Solomon Odo,who allegedly raped his co-tenant's 9 year old child was charged before an Ikeja Chief Magistrate court today.Mr Solomon Odo who is a resident of 62 Alhaji Abasi street,Ogudu Lagos is facing a two count charge of child defilement and rape.He committed the offence on August 9 2015 around 7:00pm at his residence.The prosecutor Simeon Imhonwa alleged that Odo Solomon Odo defiled the girl by luring her to run an errand for him.''Odo invited the minor into his room,locked the door and pounced on her.After touching her indecently,he had sexual intercourse with her,leaving her severely bruised''The accused was arrested after the minors mother had reported the case to the police.Odo however denied all charges.The Magistrate,Mrs Bola Osunsanmi,granted the accused bail in the sum of N1million with two responsible sureties in like sum.She said the sureties must have landed property in Lagos state and the case was adjourned for trail till September 30 2015.Please matured men and women,stop defiling little children.One more photo below.
