 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta.                According to sources,Dozens of activists including men were wearing bra to stage a protest in Hong Kong today sunday after a woman was sentenced to three and a half months in jail for assaulting a police officer with her breast.30 year old Nig Lai-ying was sentenced on thursday for assaulting a police officer during a chaotic protest against mainland Chinese cross order traders in March.She was found guilty of using her chest to bump against the arm of Chief Inspector Chan Ka-po.She was bailed pending an appeal.Ng Lai-ying had previously told the court that she yelled ''Indecent assault'' out of fear immediately after the Chief inspector Chan's hand landed on her left breast when he failed to grab the strap of her bag.The protest was caption ''Breast walk'' and hundreds of people gathered outside the police headquarters in Wan Chai district,with some holding up bras and others wearing them over their tops.A topless male activist wearing a black bra told the crowd that ''We better watch out as one day police might accuse us of attacking with our penis or buttocks''.A retired teacher,66 years old James Hon,who was wearing a pink bra said ''It's the first time to wear a bra in my entire life.We have come to this rather odd method to tell the world how ridiculous it is''.The crowd chanted ''Breasts are not weapon,give back our breast freedom,and shame on police'',as a representative handed in a petition letter to a police officer.Ng Cheukling,an activist from Hong Kong Women's Coalition on Equal Opportunities said ''The ruling is absurd,.How can breasts be a weapon?.We are angry but we also fear that this precedent exploits women's rights to take part in protests.Police must review their guidelines to handle female protesters''.More photos below.
