A Tennessee family, and an entire community, has been left stunned and grieving after a pack of dogs took the life of a man out for a jog. When 43-year-old Marko Bursey arrived in Henning, Tennessee, to visit his parents, he had no idea that he would never be returning back to his home in Nashville. Marko could have never imagined the terrible fate that awaited him, lurking in the woods, near an abandoned school. However, Marko's horrific death has had an indelible effect on not just his loved ones but an entire community as they search for answers on how this tragedy unfolded. Yesterday sunday,the Nigeria army said that they rescued 178 people held captives by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram in Borno state.Spokesman Colonel Tukur Gusau said in an emailed statement that 101 of the those freed were children,67 were women and the rest were men.He added that a Boko Haram commander had also been captured and several militant camps were cleared around the town of Bama,about 70 km south east of the state capital Maiduguri..Nigeria's airforce also said that it helped ground troops repel an attack by Boko Haram around the village of Bitta on the southern edge of the Sambisa forest reserved,a stronghold of the militant group.Bitta is also west of Gwoza,a town near the Cameroonian border that was believed to be the militants headquarters until a major offensive was launched earlier this year by combined Nigeria,Nigerian and Chadian forces.
