 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. UPDATE ON THE HELICOPTER THAT CRASHED YESTERDAY,IN LAGOS LAGOON.

                    According to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority {NCAA} said the helicopter that is carrying 12 people crashed into a Lagoon in Oworonshoki Lagos yesterday wednesday.The helicopter was operated by offshore energy transportation specialists Bristow Group,flying from an oil rig ,crashed at around 3:30pm shortly before it was due to land.Other sources said they were watching the helicopter swaying in the air and then it started to go down.As soon as it hit the water,they saw flames.A spokesman for the NCAA said the aircraft had been carrying 10 passengers and two crew.''Four bodies have been recovered.Six people survived and two people are still missing''.But other source said the two bodies have been found.Bristow Helicopters {Nigeria} Limited confirmed the crash today thursday by saying that ''The aircraft a Sikorsky S-7 6C+,was returning from a drilling rig offshore''.More photos below.
