TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site. Today thursday,about 10 people were killed and 100 wounded when a bomb went off near an army camp in northern Cameroon,where soldiers are battling Boko Haram fighters from Nigeria.The second blast was at a town ''Kerawa'', which is far north region that a clash happened in February between Boko Haram militants and government soldiers.A senior army officer based in northern Cameroon said ''For the moment there are around 10 dead and about 100 wounded in the attack near the camp.We're still awaiting a report from our teams on the bombing at the market''.The first bomb exploded in the morning in the market in Kerawa and the other soon after near a camp housing infantry soldiers stationed in the north to fight the Nigerian Islamist group.A local government official said he had been told that the attacks were carried out by female bombers.
