DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. 30 women were today monday in Ikeja Magistrate court sentenced to six weeks imprisonment for prostitution.Those sentenced are Funmi Olayemi,Damilola Ibrahim,Blessing Emmanuel,Grace Nwaokoro,Anu Titus,Princess Osu,Cynthian Ozumba,Chindima Eke,Blessing Winwah,Rebecca James,Gift James,Bukola Taiwo,Patience Amos,Oyinda Adesewa,Funmilayo Ajayi,Modinat Bello,Damilola Abiodun,Saki Godwin.Glory Edet,Blessing Okafor,Tope Obatula,Shade Afolabi,Foluke Kolawole,Tosin Ajayi,Bisi Onanuga,Princess Isaac,Ester Akpan,Cythia Osas,Joy Osas and Patricia whose surname is unknown.The accused were being tried for prostitution and breach of peace.The Magistrate Mrs O. Odusanya sentenced the accused to six weeks each with an option of N10,000.The accused during their arraignment today monday pleaded guilty to the offence,attributing it to the handiwork of the devil.The accused,whose ages and residential addresses were not given,were arrested at Obalenda area of Lagos at 2 am.The prosecutor,Insp.Femi Alabi told the court that the accused committed the offence on September 5th,2015 at Obalende area of Lagos.He said that the accused paraded themselves on the street as public nuisance.''The accused were caught soliciting for clients,which is against the law of the state''.
