 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   ENGINEERS FAROUK AHMED, GBENGA KOMOLAFE RESIGN, PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES SUCCESSORS TO THE SENATE FOR APPROVAL President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve the nominations of two new chief executives for the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) and the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).   The requests followed the resignation of Engineer Farouk Ahmed of the NMDPRA and Gbenga Komolafe of the NUPRC. Both officials were appointed in 2021 by former President Buhari to lead the two regulatory agencies created by the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).   To fill these positions, President Tinubu has written to the Senate, requesting expedited confirmation of Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo Eyesan as CEO of NUPRC and Engineer Saidu Aliyu Mohammed as CEO of NMDPRA.   The two nominees are seasoned professionals in the oil and gas industry.   Eyesan, a graduate of Economics f...

A MAN THAT WAS KILLED IN SOUTH AFRICA IN THE 90'S,IS BEING BEAUTIFIED TODAY BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

                     Benedict Daswa a South African Principal,who died 25 years ago because for refusing to part in a witchcraft related ritual was beatified by the Roman Catholic Church today sunday,moving him a step closer to sainthood.He was murdered by his fellow villagers in 1990.He is now known as the first saint in South Africa.A Catholic priest during the live broadcast today in northern Limpopo province said ''While his executioners were killing him,Benedict was on his knees praying''.A letter from Pope Francis,read out by his envoy Cardinal Angelo Amato,declared Daswa would join the ranks of ''The Blessed,for his herioc witness to the gospel,even to the shedding of blood''.Daswa was killed after he refused to join villagers in consulting a traditional sorcerer about a lighting strike that burnt down several huts in Tshitanini,more than 500 km northeast of Johannesburg.Violence broke out after 43 year old late Daswa argued the thunder strike was caused by the weather,not witchcraft.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
