DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Yesterday saturday morning,armed robbers invaded the residence of National Youth Corps members serving in Ogun state.The residence is located behind Development Centre,Presidential Boulevard,Abeokuta,the Ogun state capital.The robbery at the lodge,which is the third within five months,occurred at about 3:00am when the Youth Corps members were fast asleep.Items lost include some amount of money,ten laptops and over twenty five telephones.An eyewitness account has it that the bandits exploited the absence of security in the vicinity to gain access to the lodge and at gun point robbed the Youth Corps members.The armed robbers forced their way into each flat at gun point and thereafter embarked on the raid,unhindered.Two of the bandits moved from one room to the other to ransack,while the other two stayed outside to attack anybody that resisted.The Youth Corps members said they had earlier reported the two previous incidents to the police but no action was taken until the robbers struck again yesterday saturday morning..The Corp Members said ''We are begging security authorities in the state and NYSC authorities to come to our aid before the bandits start killing us''.Police sources who confirmed the incident,informed that efforts are ongoing to provide adequate surveillance in the area.
