 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. BOKO HARAM MEMBERS ON HORSEBACK,KILLED 24 PEOPLE IN BORNO STATE.

               Today wednesday,a vigilante source revealed that suspected Boko Haram gunmen on horseback killed at least 24 people in two separate attacks on villages in Borno state.The gunmen opened fire and threw explosive devices in Kolori and Ba'ana Iman,in Damboa Local Government,Born state,in the attacks on Monday evening.Although nobody has claimed responsibility and the militants are rarely on horseback,but it is strongly believed they are Boko Haram Members.
