Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. According to the United Nations who said today friday that the measles outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo's copper mining,has killed 428 people and infected about 30,000 people since the beginning of the year.More than 100 deaths and 10,000 additional cases have been recorded since mid August,when the United Nations committed $2.4 million to fight the outbreak in the former province of Katanga,which was recently divided into four.Humanitarian groups said the money was not enough and poor roads and health services in the region were hindering vaccination drives.Yvon Edoumou,spokesman for the U.N Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs {OCHA},said ''We have contained the disease somewhat in the short term,but it's sad to see that the disease is still progressing''.One more photo below.
