 FG ARRAIGNS 400 TERRORISM SUSPECTS The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi (SAN), has arraigned for prosecution over 400 terrorism suspects.  Judiciary Correspondent Austin Anyebe reports that the trials are taking place in different courts at the Federal High Court complex in Abuja.  A team led by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi SAN supported by the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), is prosecuting the suspects. Similar mass trial took place in April 2026. In that trial out of 508 defendants, the AGF's office secured 386 convictions, with 8 discharges and 2 acquittals.  Many of the convicts received prison sentences of up to 20 years.  The defendants are facing charges linked to terrorism, aiding and abetting insurgent activities, and financing. 68 STUDENTS WERE EXPELLED FROM KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY.-REGISTRAR.

                                    In a statement issued by the Registrar of Kogi state university,Dr Yakubu Abubakar in Lokoja today sunday,said 19 of the affected students were expelled for various examination misconduct and 49 others withdrawn for poor academic performance.Some of the students also had their admission withdrawn for failure to register within the stipulated period and wrong entry requirements and that the affected students cut across all the faculties.The Registrar stated that Prof.Mohammed Abdulkadir had been appointed the new Vice Chancellor of the university to take over from Prof.Hassan Isah,whose tenure expired on October 12.He said Abdulkadir had since resumed duty,nothing that until his appointment,he was a professor of economic history from Bayero University,Kano.He further said that the new vice chancellor promised to run an inclusive and consultative administration and appealed to stakeholders to join hands with him in moving the school forward.One more photo below.
