 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 7 DAYS MOURNING,DECLARED BY THE BAYELSA GOVT WITH THE IJAW NATIONAL CONGRESS FOR ALAMIEYESEIGHA.

                    According to a Bayelsa Government House statement signed by Daniel I wariso-Markson,the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seriake Dickson,declared that to this effect,all flags in all public buildings and premises across the state be flown at half mast for the period.According to the statement,the 7 days mourning period and the flying of the flags at half mast takes effect from today monday,12 October,2015.Condolence registers have been opened in Government House,the state secretariat complex and Ijaw House,all in the state.This 7 days mourning was done to honour the late first civilian Governor of the state,Chief Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha,who passed away last saturday at the age of 63 at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.One more photo below.
