 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. ALAMIEYESEIGHA THE EX GOVERNOR OF BAYELSA STATE,DIED TODAY IN PORT HARCOURT.

               We regret to announce the death of the ex-governor of Bayelsa state Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha,who died today saturday {at the age of 63},at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital,where he had been in coma for days.Close family friends of theirs said Mr Alamieyeseigha was diabetic and was treated in Dubai,but recently returned to Port Harcourt.Mr Alamieyeseighss was the governor Bayelsa state from 1999 to 2005 when he was impeached on corruption charges.He was succeeded by former President Goodluck Jonathan,who was his deputy.May his soul rest in peace AMEN.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
