A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR MAN WHO SHOT A GRANITE CITY POLICE OFFICER MULTIPLE TIMES.(PHOTO).

  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. BOKO HARAM KILLED 2 NIGER SOLDIERS TODAY IN DIFFA.

                         According to Niger's defense minister,who confirmed that two Niger soldiers were killed today in a suicide attack by a group of suspected Boko Harsm militants in the southeastern region of Diffa.Four attackers attempted to enter the town of Diffa today wednesday morning but were intercepted 10 km {six miles}outside and then attacked by security forces.However,at least one of the militants still managed to to detonate an explosive device.Karidio Mahamadou said to pressmen that ''Two of our soldiers died after being hit by the explosion,three others were injured''.One more photo below.
