 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE,REWARDS SPORTSMEN/WOMEN IN THE POLICE FORCE.

                           In a bid to boost the morale of sportsmen and women in the Nigerian Police Force,the Inspector General of Police,IGP Solomon E.Arase,fdc,NPM has magnanimously promoted six policemen/women to their next ranks while the seventh officer was given accelerated promotion from Police Constable to the rank of Police Inspector.Addressing the sports ambassador of the Nigerian Police at the conference hall of the Police Force Headquarters,Abuja on October 14th 2015,the Deputy-Inspctor General of Police DIG Dan Azumi Job Doma,NPW,fwc,psc who stood in for IGP said,the IGP and the entire Nigeria Police Force is proud of the outstanding performances.He also said that they should shun drugs and any performance enhancing drugs,saying the application of such act is very embarrassing.
