 Somali PM calls on Somaliland to cut Israel ties, urges reconciliation Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called on Somaliland’s leadership to cut ties with Israel and to resolve disputes with the federal government through dialogue. Barre said relations among Somalis should be addressed through talks rather than confrontation, in remarks during a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of the establishment of North East State. In December 2025, Israel announced mutual recognition with Somaliland, a move strongly rejected by the Somali government as a breach of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and criticised by many countries across the world. “Regarding our brothers in Somaliland, I have nothing new to say. I repeat what we have always said: we call for Islam, brotherhood and Somali unity. These are the things that bind us together,” Barre said, TRT Afrika reported.                   Ace musician Daniel Wilson took to his social media page after the news went viral that ex Governor of Bayelsa state Alamieyeseigha died yesterday in Port Harcourt.Daniel Wilson captioned his write up with bold letters ''HOW LONG SHALL THEY KILL OUR PROPHETS,WHILE WE STAND ASIDE AND LOOK?.He wrote further that ''Is this not another case of a witch crying in the night and the baby dying in the morning?.Did our Governor General,Sir Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha have the heart for all their threats about extradition?.Certainly not,it was his heart that gave up.He was in Dubai last week,jejely receiving treatment for his ailment when the threats of extradition for a crime he had paid in full and been pardoned for began,so he had to come back home prematurely to avoid being arrested abroad where he suffered a huge heart attack and eventually died.THEY HAVE HOUNDED HIM TO DEATH!!
