 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ONE DEAD AFTER A PETROL TANKER RAMMED INTO 4 CARS IN OTA OGUN STATE,TODAY.

                                                             Today saturday,it was confirmed by the Federal Road Safety Commission {FRSC} in Ota,Ogun state said one person died,while six other people sustained various degrees of injuries in an accident involving a petrol tanker and four vehicles at Owode Junction.The accident occurred around 5:30am and it is due to the carelessness of the tanker driver.The Unit Commander pf FRSC Mr Leye Adegboyega  said the loaded petrol tanker was coming from Lagos and heading to Abeokuta when it lost control and rammed into four vehicles which caught fire immediately.He said that the fire from the tanker spread to the neighbouring houses and property worth millions of naira were lost in the fire.The driver of the tanker,whose name is Wale Olaitan,lost his life while six others including four male and two female sustained various degrees of injuries.''The corpse of the victim have been deposited at the mortuary in Ifo General hospital,Ogun,while other victims were referred to Federal Medical Centre,IdI-Aba,Abeokuta for an intensive treatment''.One more photo below.
