Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. PALESTINIANS ARE BANNED FROM JERUSALEM,FOLLOWING RECENT ATTACKS.

                              Today sunday,it was said by the Israeli policemen that the restrictions will be in place for two days,with only Israelis,tourists,residents of the area,business owners and students allowed.Israel took the step of barring Palestinians from Jerusalem following attacks that killed two Israelis and wounded a child.Worship at the sensitive Al-Aqsa mosque compound will be restricted to Old city residents and Arab Israelis ,and limited to men aged 50 and above.There will be no age restrictions on women.They will be allowed to enter through one specific gate.There was no immediate reaction from Palestinian officials.On saturday night,a Palestinian said an Islamist militant killed two Israeli men and wounded a woman and a toddler in a knife and gun attack in the Old city.Police shot dead the attacker.In a separate incident yesterday saturday,a Palestinian man stabbed a passerby in west Jerusalem before being shot dead by police while he was fleeing the scene.The victim was wounded.etc.
