Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. Today saturday at Magodo area of Lagos,near Ikeja,it was reported that a bungalow collapsed and killed four siblings.The incident occurred around 4:50 am while the siblings were sleeping in the three bedroom bungalow.Spokesperson for Lagos State Emergency Management Agency {LASEMA} Michael Kehinde says a mound side washed down by rain in the early morning rain led to the collapse of the apartment located at No.50 Otun Araromi street,Orisa,Magodo,behind Magodo Phase 1 at about 4:50 am today.He said the collapse buried four children who were later brought out of the ruins dead,while the father of the children,50 years old Godwin Odia from Edo state escaped death as he was out of the house few minutes before the tragedy struck.The names of the siblings were giving as Isayo Odia 23 ,Clinton Odia 13,Da-silver Odia 15,and 10 year old Endurance Odia..Is a pity.
