 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South ⁠Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at ⁠addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. CHAD EXTEND'S IT'S STATE OF EMERGENCY TO MARCH NEXT YEAR,TO CURB BOKO HARAM ISSUES.

                 Today thursday,it was reported that Chad's national assembly extended a state of emergency in the western Lake Chad region by four months on Wednesday following a double attack by Boko Haram militants that killed some 12 people.A ruling party deputy told pressman that ''The state of emergency is prolonged by 147 unanimous votes by the parliament for four months.That is to say it will end March 22''.The initial emergency was authorized on November 9 and was  set to last 12 days.The government wanted a six month extension but deputies opposite.
