 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South ⁠Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at ⁠addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. INEC DECLARES KOGI STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION,INCONCLUSIVE TODAY.

                    Today sunday,INEC {Independent National Electoral Commission} declared the governorship election held in Kogi state yesterday saturday as inconclusive.The Chief Returning Officer for the election,Prof.Emmanuel Kucha,who announced the results,said Audu had 240,867 votes,while the incumbent governor,Idris Wada scored 199,514.The difference between the two Major candidate was 41,353 votes.While announcing the INEC's decision on the poll,the returning officer quoted a relevant section of the Electoral Act,saying since the total number of cancelled vote exceeded the difference in votes between the two major candidates,the commission will order a supplementary poll in the affected areas.The total number of cancelled votes was 49,953.In the election,the APC candidate/defeated Wada in 16of the 21 local government areas in the  state.One more photo below.
