 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Zainab Usman                      Today friday one of the candidate {Zainab Usman}that is to context for Governor under African Democratic Congress {ADC} tomorrow saturday in Kogi state,has withdrawn from the race at the last minute.Usman who is the only female in the race,is stepping down and pitching her tent with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress {APC} Prince Abubakar Audu,according to a statement she signed today friday.She said she decided to step down for Audu because he is the only candidate that can take the state to the promise land.''I decided to dump my ambition and support Audu to move the state forward and continue from where he stopped in 2003.I have thus directed all my supporters to go out and vote en mass for the APC and Prince Audu tomorrow''.
