 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. 6 PEOPLE DIED TODAY IN A BUS/TIPPER ACCIDENT,AROUND JIMGBE LOKOJA,KOGI STATE.

                            Around 10:am today wednesday,a bus and two tipper trucks were involved in a ghastly accident that killed no fewer than six people.The commercial bus was attempting to over-take one of the tipper trucks right on Jimgbe bridge when it brushed the other and forcing both off the bridge.The six people that died were occupants of the commercial vehicle,including the driver.The oncoming tipper truck veered into the bush while trying to avoid head-on collition with both vehicles.A six of both tipper trucks however survived and were evacuated to a hospital for medical attention.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
