 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. A EX-COMMISSIONER IN ADAMAWA STATE,SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS FOR FRAUD YESTERDAY.

                  Yesterday friday December 4,2015,a former Commissioner of Local Government Affairs in Adamawa state,John Ellias Babani,was sentenced to to 10 years by Justice Bilikisu Bello Aliyu of the Federal High Court,Yoa,Adamawa state for defrauding Adamawa state government of the Sum of N51.5 miion while in office.He was arraigned by the EFCC {Economic and Financial Crimes Commission} on March 5,2013 alongside two others who were discharged as well as a company owned by Elias on four count charges of fraud.Justice Aliyu sentenced the first convict,John Babani Elias to 10 years imprisonment on count 3 and 4 but the two sentences will run concurrently,and he must refund the sum of N51.5 million to Adamawa state Local Government joint account fund from where it was stolen.The judge also ordered the Corporate Affairs Commission {CAC} to wind up Al-Akim Investment Limited and have its assets forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.Justice Aliyu said the Judgement will serve as a  deterrent to public office holders who may want to divert public funds for personal benefit.One more photo below.
